Fenwick World Class 1 Fly Reel

Fenwick World Class 1 Fly ReelA Fenwick World Class 1 fly reel, 3" diameter and set up for LHW. Good used condition with normal cosmetic wear but nothing significant that I could see. Matte black finish with a single screw lineguard. The drag is adjusted via two dials to alter the drag pressure in either direction, a design that I haven't seen elsewhere. The reel packs into the original leather Fenwick zipper pouch.

Comes in a fitted leather case by Arne Mason with TMR's logo stamped on the top

The Swiss-style ferrules are size 14/64 with a nice fit

The hard rubber butt remains in like new condition

in looking through our extensive tackle database I could not find any other LHW 2/0 models - not one

with some minor rodent damage I’ve had them restored by a professional Bookbinder & Conservator

the cane is a medium wheatstraw color slightly mottled in places

The reel is set up for left hand retrieve and is in near mint condition with one small ding on the spool edge
