The sturdy basket is woven with a complex technique and with a fine tight pattern. The Wounaan women are considered the finest basket makers in the world. Through basketry they help preserve their culture and in so doing they respect the earth with sustainable harvesting practices. This is our larger Wounaan basket. Colors: black and wheat.
