Antique Abalone Tie Bar Clip or Tie TackThis is a circa 1930's brass and abalone tie clip. It measures approximately 1 1 8th inches in length. This appears to be for a young boys tie or a skinny tie, due to it's small size. The piece has some tarnish that only adds to the charm of this unique piece. When photographing we were able to see a small chip of abalone out of the tip of one corner. It's very difficult to see when wearing the clip. No hallmarks are visible as to maker or metal

The other side of the mirror is perfect

the white spot in the second photo is just a piece of fuzz from our cleaning cloth

rust or serious damage

and has a snap closure pocket on the back for cards and cash

It is 3 3/8” tall and in great condition

It would also make a great trinket or pill box

heavy and comes with a black organza pouch

"  You will normally find markings on the bases of the boxes

A wonderful and unique piece to use or add to any antique collection

This is a heavy and well made set

including one dent

and the powder puff appears to not have been used
