Description
Retrofit/Replacement Idler/Tensioner Pulley, Plastic, Flanged for Electric Water PumpsDayco part number 89003. Polymer idler tensioner pulley with flanged edges. Works better than the smooth steel pulley if running an electric water pump. The side flanges prevent the belt from being thrown. These are also available from your local auto parts store. The diameter where the belt runs is 3. 03" Also see our Billet Aluminum pulley recommended for high HP applications.
Start the belt on the alternator pulley first
Use part numbers 6PK1270 or 6PK1265
"Small" has 8-32 threaded holes
(1) 5/8" long
welded to the charge pipe before throttle body in most cases
Designed to work with all three LS balancers without spacing the water pump
