Description
Brushed Oak Platter XLThis large elegant platter is 48cm round height 4cm and handturned of one big piece of Dutch oak. The design is minimalistic; a slight angle on the outside and a sligthly curved surface edged by a small rim. This piece is handbrushed to enhance the pattern with a beautiful texture. The platter is finished with 2 layers of foodsafe lacquer. Even the bottom has nice little details of turning and a signature stamp.
Finish inside: ox blood pigment & hard wax oil
Slightly shorter sleeves with broad elastic bands prevent a nasty sleeve catch while turning
Height: 80 mm
Based on the wooden ironing boards that were used before the 1950’s
Part of their charm are the little imperfections and variety in colours and patterns
